What I can do to help you (my specialist knowledge)
I can help you with business planning and in the event of difficulties arising in your business can advise on insolvency, alternatives to bankruptcy or liquidation and in business recovery strategies.
I can advise with regard to tax planning for individuals and in particular Capital Taxes such as Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax.
I will always be trying to find a solution to issues and one of my maxim’s is “There is no such thing as a problem, only a solution waiting to be found”.

What I do at Alexander & Co
As a consultant my role is diverse in providing accountancy and insolvency advice. My role is to support client managers in advising clients and giving the best professional outcome. I work across a wide spectrum of cases encompassing not only my speciality (insolvency), but having been a chartered accountant for 38 years can draw on a wealth of experiences and knowledge, from solutions to accounting matters to complex tax planning, from retirement and succession issues to company and partnership formations and dissolutions. If you think you have a problem, I hope to have a solution.
Fascinating Facts
My interests encompass sailing, property renovation, landscape gardening, playing violin, piano and brass, walking and travelling. To relax I need to be “busy”. This year I fitted out a camper van and drove 5,000 miles to Crete and back, (taking a spa bath with us).
My creative pursuits energise my accountancy tasks and demands, enabling a fresh dimension and perspective in the workplace.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of R3 (The Association of Business Recovery Professionals)
